Those shiny Easter eggs have been in the shops for way too long, and having already caused quite a few arguments I’m pleased to say it’s almost time to allow our little chicks to eat them! Bring on the sugar rush!
This means it’s time to plan our Easter holidays here in Wales too, only a few days to go until the schools break up! Yikes! Like us, many of you are probably busy planning how to juggle and survive/ enjoy the two weeks with the kids. I’m really looking forward to it, I have a whole week off, the first week off work this year so I’m planning to make the most of it! To help me plan and hopefully give you some ideas too, I’ve created a list of some of the fun Easter events that have caught my eye!
Theatre show The Girl with the Incredibly Long Hair. Inspired by Rapunzel but revamped and with a modern twist that makes it relevant for our generation….and where the girl doesn’t need saving! Suitable for children 4 – 8.
Dragon Egg Rescue. All day fun & adventure for children aged 4- 12.
April 15 – Plascrug Leisure Centre, Aberystwyth.

Cylch Meithrin Glantwymyn presents an Easter Party! An opportunity to meet S4C’s Bendant, an egg hunt, games, sensory play by Toc Toc Play and more!
Easter Bunny Adventure! Hour long sessions full of fun and suitable for the whole family! Start off by creating bunny ears and tails, before an adventure aroud Pontio to feed the hungry bunnies and an opportunity to win prizes too!

Little Meerkats Big Panic. An award winning multi – sensory show. Join the little meerkat in the Kalahari dessert. An opportunity to explore and learn about the senses and our feelings. Suitable for children aged 0 – 7.
That’s our Easter holidays sorted! I hope this gives you some good ideas too! If you have any other events or ideas please share them with us on our Mam Cymru Facebook, Twitter & Instagram pages. Happy Easter & good luck with the sugar rushes!
